Campus Life Is Crazy

Man this semester is going to be HECTIC! I'm taking these 18 credits like a pro though. Catch me chillin like this any and everywhere...

(They purple by the way) Them Skull Candy's never leave my side. It's really the only way I make it thru my day.

KaPow! Flash was bright as shit on my reflector piece. Lol. I know my bookbag hates me already but I love it. Swear only one of my classes requires books for under $100. Everything else is oh so expensive... This book right here alone was about.... 150 or so. Crazy shit, but it's cool because this is my last math class! Ha!

On my way to leave from my hiding spot (nobody goes up there...) where I was attempting to study, I snapped this nice pic of the Health and Human Services Building...

One of these days I'm really going to shoot around North Ave. and maybe around this other little spot I have ;) You would be surprised where you can find beauty in this city...

#pause

My little brother is losing teeth left and right. This was yesterday...

Notice only ONE tooth is missing.
Well I pick him up from school today and I see this...

NO TEETH!

My little guy is growing up <3 I feel old as ever now man... Sheesh!

Anyway, I'm about to get ready, to get ready, to go out tonight.
Wale gotta concert at Sonar and we in there!

#TTTT Numero Uno

Well anybody who uses Twitter or Facebook on a Tuesday knows that that means...
Tell The Truth Tuesday!!!
Here's a list of some things that I have to be honest about this week...

1. I'm on Academic Alert. Which is a hot step before Academic Probation.
2. I wan't hurt when I broke up with my ex-girlfriend, I was hurt when I stopped talking to the girl I was talking to...
3. I'm not rich. And I don't pretend to be. I just do me with what I have.
4. I'm SICED about going to Sonar tomorrow night to see Wale and New Impressions. Fuck the club music and  XIB. It's all about them guys!!!
5. I'm proud of me. Nobody recognizes the changes or the improvements, so fuck it. I'm proud of myself.

**#TTTT Rant**

I'm so tired of fake people. It's crazy how you never realize how you can be completely surrounded by phony and fake people until you change yourself from being like them. No wonder people say watch who you hang around because you will most likely adopt their habits. Y'all can have that fake shit. Can't say it to my face? Don't fuckin say it. Can't do it while your around me? Don't fuckin do it. This fake shit gotta stop. I really don't understand why people just don't keep it ONE HUNDRED and leave the bullshit at home!!! We are grown folks. Not children. Shit I picked on kids in their FACE when I was little. So I'm no different now.

NO PHONY'S!!!

Aight. I'm done.

Bless!

Busy Weekend.... Busier Week

Man oh man have I been busy... Between work and getting ready for school, I've been swamped. Let's see... Saturday I was supposed to have a date with the aforementioned young lady... Due to some sad circumstances that didn't happen so... Being me I always have a back-up. I set up a nice quiet night with somebody else ;) She's just a good friend though, so we went to hookah and then I took her back to school. Straight gentleman shit =]

*cracks back*

Anyway... I messed up pretty badly last semester and my GPA got to a dangerously low level.. (SMH) So I'm extremely dedicated to school this time around. I love love love love looooove girls, and they can easily throw me off track, but I refuse. So no girlfriends during this semester. No if, ands, or buts about it.

First day of school and I already have assignments! Lmao these teachers are NOT playing. I'ma bust this speech out then come back and drop some knowledge.

Bless!

Typical Thursday

Breakfast =]
Just kidding. I actually had an everything bagel from Panera Bread for breakfast.

I started by going to Little Big Bro's (Scherron) house. Sat over there for a while, watched some MTV Jams and Maury, then we left out and drove around for a little bit. I love the camera on my phone, it saves my life! He really wanted to get some chicken nuggets from Wendy's so we stopped over there and he ate in the car while we waited on Cierra.

Then we went to Security Square Mall. It might as well be filled with zombies as dead as it is!!! There was nothing to see or do in there. So I grabbed a Penn Optical card and we dipped. The rest of the day was filled with all the BS from Coppin... They were talking a bunch of craziness about overrides and all that kinda mess... I got everything straightened out and bought my MATH 125 textbook then we left from there. Then we headed back out Randallstown to the Aquarium Store for some Bearded Dragon stuff and I made a hilarious video of Cierra acting like a wuss because of some snakes. I'll upload it as soon as I get the PS3 from downstairs lol.

I did some running around with the fam, then we came home had pepperoni pizza and salad and chilled. My little brother is a camera ham so he wanted to get a couple pics taken. =] I bought that DS for Christmas so I make him play it everyday! I want to make sure I get my money's worth out of that thing.

Now I'm sitting here drinking a gallon of water and watching the Travel Channel waiting for Her to call me back... So that's pretty much the end of tonight. I think tomorrow before work I'm going to get my laundry done so I won't have to rush and do it on Sunday. Plus, that will give me motivation to bring the PS3 upstairs so I can upload these videos....

Good Night & Bless!

Pause // A slight post break. Random Ranting

I've been thinking... It seems as though lately I really have been changing. I care less and less about what people have to say, feel, or think about anything that I decide to do. It feels great actually. Like I'm free.

I really wish I didn't have to work while I'm in school. I can't function without money though. As a college student I feel like the country should understand that I'm trying to become something useful to them, and just let everything I need become FREE. It's something about money I don't like. We should go back to the original barter and trade system. On some old "I'll give you my roller skates and a bottle of perfume for some corn and some tomatoes" Lol Jussss Kiddingggggg!!! But seriously though, something about printed money just seems like... BS.

Anyway, I need another gallon of water in my room. <---Random Thought

Ok I'm done for now.

Almost about that time...

I'm going to be honest. I have halfway forgotten what I did yesterday!
Wait for it... Wait for it... GOT IT!

I had to be to work by 8:30am yesterday, but I tried to get there early just so I could eat and get started on some work before people started coming in the store. Breakfast consisted of my leftover Chicken Cesar Salad from the night before.

There was more than that left, I just caught myself before I finished.

It was a really good salad except for the fact they fried the chicken =\ I feel like it defeats the purpose of the salad. It's like, I'm trying to eat healthy and stay away from fried fatty foods, why on Earth would you put fried food on a salad???

Anyway... I went to work for my 5 little hours, left and went home to chill with big bro before I picked up mom dukes. While I was coming down Pulaski Hwy. I saw the most peculiar thing... This man was trying to box a tree. If you look at the black figure facing the tree, you'll see him. I was actually driving so I couldn't get too too close of a pic lol.

And I also did something that's very out of character for me... I started talking to someone online. It's not that I've never done it before (don't judge me), but I haven't done it in years. And surprisingly, we have a LOT in common. Our similarities are on major things too. Not little kiddie stuff like "Hey Purple's my favorite color too!" We actually talk about grown up stuff =] I like.

And that's it for yesterday......
Now onto today....

I Did It!

I did get that salad in today.I'm quite proud of myself honestly. I was going to go get some BWW despite the disappointing behavior of some so-called adults, but I opted instead to stop in the mall and get a salad from this place called Salad Gourmet.

I went to Barnes & Nobles tonight with Rodney, took a couple pics on the cam and the phones. I proved that my 8900 is better than his ancient ass 8310. Lol

We found a lot of nice coffee table books by some great photographers and a lot of camera manuals. Mostly Canon Rebels, Canon D3000, Nikon D40-D3000, and some guides on nature photography etc. So that was pretty cool. I came across this very interesting "fusion" book, "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" By Jane Austen and some random "co-author". I was amazed because 10th grade Honors English had to read and watch the original "Pride and Prejudice". Never seen the zombie shit before.

Quick little tidbit, I started reading the Qur'an. I like it thus far. Nothing like a little religious tolerance for that ass. It makes a lot of sense... Let's see how much of my Roman Catholic background I can ignore and open my mind to something new...

I got a lot on my mind but I have work at 8:30am, so I'll get to it tomorrow.

Until then,
Bless!

Breakfast. And That's not a good thing!

My big thing this year is my health and my weight. It's nothing for me to gain a couple pounds in a week, then lose it the next week. I don't like it though, so I'm trying to monitor what I'm eating and drinking everyday and making adjustments. Candy and soda... Not a good nutritious start to my day lol. Needless to say, I did crash because I had 3 more bars and a Sprite =[ Tonight while I'm at BWW, I'm planning on getting a salad and water just because I messed up on breakfast. We'll see how that pans out though!

Until later...
Bless!

Good Shisha With Good People

Yesterday was Rodney's last night home before returning to Pratt so we couldn't just sit around and let it go to waste... After chilling with the white boys (That's what I refer to Scott, Aaron, Adam, etc. as all thee time), we decided to head down to The Little Morocco Cafe in Highlandtown. As always, we started off the night with a pot of Indian Chai =]

(I really like out of focus pics for some reason. Idk I'm just weird.)
Then came the shisha. I like ice cubes in my base for the cooling effect, so we got that too.

Then another one of the bestie's decided she needed to escape the house so we left for 40 minutes and came back. Shoutout to the owner Maliik. I've been going there since last summer and he really likes me and the people I bring in there. The best kind of shisha, cheapest price, excellent food and service. Can't beat that shit! Here's him and some of the other Arabic regulars that chill and play cards down there

(He's the one on the far right lol)

Dude so cool he let us leave when I went to get Cierra and just said it's cool pay when you get back. Loyalty and trust. I like that.

We decided to go the communal route and get a lamb kabob platter but they were all out so we got the Mediterranean Chicken with Couscous, Pita bread, a salad, and water.

Anyway, Rodney and Cierra's homeboy Rico came and joined us and then we had the most hilarious "drunk night" story times. (I'm not drinking until I'm 21, decided that after Friday screwed up my Saturday!)

Anyway, here's some more pics we took with "Big Bertha" and "Flashy Baby" (The Canon and External Flash have nicknames, yes)

Rodney

Moi, I love this pic lol

Rico, Cee, and Me

I look like such a Rasta in this pic lol

Cee and Rodney

Me again.

To sum it up, we had an excellent night.

Martin Luther The King Day Examination.

Today is the day where the whole country celebrates the birthday of the immortalized MLK Jr. Somehow I have torn feelings about this "holiday". Why doesn't everything close down like it does on President's Day? Why do people still only examine the "I Have A Dream" speech and not dig deeper into some of his other great works? Why is it that people on Twitter have made #ihaveadream the number one TT so far today, talking about the most insignificant things EVER?

I've come to the conclusion that the day doesn't hold the same importance today that it did in it's original conception. MLK was a martyr for the racial equality movement. I don't know about you but uh, me personally, I couldn't have lived back in his day. His patience, kind words in times of unrest, stern and unwavering demeanor are all examples that people of our time need to take and use in today's world. Not even on a racial tip, but on some humanitarian stuff, look at the way we treat each other today. Constant disrespect, disconnection from each other and each others struggles, our unwillingness to be kind... IT'S A MESS. Do you really think MLK Jr. was pushing for Racial Equality and Human Decline? NO.

So get that shit together. Be kind to somebody, white, black, latino, middle eastern, just somebody!
Stop letting the government and society divide us because of other factors that don't include race... Money, status, location, etc.

Shit is still not equal. So keep pushing for tolerance and equality.

Bless.

#NowPlaying - SMKA

I'm all about trying new things, especially musically. I'll try and listen to anything at least once (except bluegrass!!!). I was browsing my Google Reader and this mixtape popped up on (2)DopeBoyz. Apparently, it's a bunch of Southern Rappers trying to prove there's more to the south than snap jams, auto tune, and pussy poppin music. I'm 5 tracks deep and thus far, I'm very impressed.

Bless.

Where Do I Start???

Well I'm starting over FRESH.

I had a blog (thecoolestloser.blogspot.com) but I had to let that one go. It's been almost a year since I've blogged and there's a lot that has changed. Tiger cheated, I got major surgery, I consider myself having 4 friends, Drake has become "Young Money-fied", etc. This time around, I'm doing it right. My honest opinions, whatever I want to say when I want to say it.

So tell a friend to tell a friend.
Bless!
